JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – A West Region hockey rivalry was renewed at Wilson Arena Friday night and Minot pulled out a 3-1 victory over the Blue Jays.
Sophomore Nate Walz scored his sixth goal of the season and Senior Goalie Andrew Walz made 35 saves but it wasn’t enough as Jamestown slips to 5-6 on the season.
The Magi outshot the Jays 38-25 and improve their record to 9-3.
Next up for Jamestown is a West Region home game with Dickinson Tuesday night January 17th at 7:30 at Wilson Arena.
