JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The annual Winter Ag and Construction Expo at the Jamestown Civic Center is underway.

The free event is being held Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 4 pm each day.

Many vendors with farm and construction equipment are on display. Along with great seminars with educational topics.

One of the major events of day 1 was the panel discussion on carbon capture featuring Jason Laumb with the Energy and Environmental Research Center, and Tom Oakland with the North Dakota Department of Commerce. They went into detail about how carbon capture will affect North Dakota agriculture. The discussion was moderated by Mick Kjar of the Ag Central Radio Network.
