VALLEY CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com) Valley City will start their series history with the newest Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) member tonight.
West Fargo Horace entered varsity competition this year. They have been fielding sub-varsity teams in past years, but are full members of the EDC this season.
Girls play will be in Valley City tonight. The Hi-Liners fell to Grand Forks Red River 66-39 Tuesday night, dropping to 1-5 on the season, 1-4 in EDC play. Horace is 2-4 overall, 1-3 in league play, with wins over Devils Lake in the league, and Pierz, MN in non-league play.
Hi-Liner boys basketball will travel to Horace tonight. Valley City is still searching for it’s first win after an 83-54 loss at Red River Tuesday. The Hawks’ boys are 1-3 in EDC play, 2-4 overall with an 89-87 win over West Fargo in EDC play, and a non-league win over Blake, MN.
KOVC will air boys basketball on the road tonight, with pregame coverage starting around 7:15 PM.
