MAPLETON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com/NDHP) – ND Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a reckless driver and road rage incident in the Fargo area at around 3 pm on Wednesday.

According to the ND Highway Patrol, the incident involved a driver of a vehicle that allegedly fired a gun at passing vehicles. One vehicle reported a broken window from a gunshot.

Troopers located the vehicle near Mapleton and conducted a high-risk traffic stop on Interstate 94. The suspect was taken into custody.

The incident remains under investigation by the ND Highway Patrol. The Cass County Sheriff’s Department also assisted during the incident.
