VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Valley City is asking residents to clear snow away from fire hydrants following several snowfall events over the last few weeks.

Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said your help and cooperation is greatly appreciated by city fire fighters during the winter months. He said by clearing snow away from a fire hydrant it will cut down several minutes for fire fighters responding to any potential fires in your neighborhood this winter.
