Valley City Police Lt. Dana Rustebakke and Santa, Cops, & Kids children.
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Law enforcement officers from Valley City, Lisbon, Barnes County, Ransom County, and the North Dakota Highway Patrol brought some happiness to children during Santa, Cops & Kids on Monday, December 19th.
Valley City Police Lt. Dana Rustebakke said the event helps families who could be going through a hardship such as financial, a traumatic event or the loss of a loved one.
The children and officers had supper at Pizza Corner before heading down Main Street to shop at Handy Home and Hardware. The children’s presents were gift wrapped by volunteers at the store.
