JAMESTOWN, N.D.(NewsDakota.com) – Early Friday morning, the Jamestown Police Department responded to investigate a report of a stabbing that occurred at 1014 16 St NE.
The victim was taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center by ambulance where he was treated for multiple stab wounds in the abdomen.
According to Jamestown Police, 29-year-old Santos Eraza Lara was arrested in connection with the stabbing. Lara and the victim both work at the ongoing construction project in Spiritwood. Lara is from Honduras. His immigration status is being investigated.
Lara is being held in the Stutsman County Correctional Center.
Authorities say the victim is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The victim’s name has not been released.
