JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce is giving you some great incentives to shop locally this holiday season.

The chamber has once again brought back the “Loyal to Local” passport program. The program was first introduced in 2021 to help grow the economy locally and urge people to shop in Jamestown.

Chamber Executive Director Emily Bivens says that shoppers can take a passport booklet to a participating business and receive stamps each time they make a purchase of $50 or more.

Both Chamber businesses and non-Chamber businesses have signed up to participate. Bivens added they have more businesses participating this year and they’re hoping to track more than $125,000 in local spending again.

Bivens says the program will run through January 6, where they’ll then draw from the passports to give out prizes.
