JAMESTOWN,N.D.(NewsDakota.com/JRVLS) – It’s that time of year again when the weather turns cold and we need to dig out our hats, mittens, scarves, and other warm clothes out of storage.

To help those who may not have the necessary items during the cold weather season, James River Valley Library System has placed a Mitten Tree in the Adult Section of Alfred Dickey Library. They are asking the community to help decorate the Mitten Tree by donating new or gently used hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves for all ages. All donations will be given to the Salvation Army, which will give these items to those who need them.

Donations will be accepted December 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022. Drop off your donated items at Alfred Dickey Public Library located at 105 3rd St SE in Jamestown.
