JAMESTOWN,N.D. – (NewsDakota.com) – A time-honored fundraising event returns to JRMC on Thursday, December 1st.
The annual “Christmas Open House at the Gift Shoppe” event is scheduled for Thursday, December 1st from 3-7pm at the JRMC Gift Shoppe. The event is hosted by the JRMC Auxiliary.
JRMC Foundation Director Lisa Jackson said, “We have a group of people, the JRMC Auxiliary, that volunteers their time and does super sweet events.” And for this event Jackson said, “They are going to do all things holiday! Christmas decor, and gifts, and because it’s the auxiliary there will be baked goods!” Jackson also stated that there will be clothes, purses, and jewelry available for purchase as well. According to Jackson, most of the items are already out for purchase at the gift shop located within JRMC.
The event is a fundraiser with all proceeds to benefit the JRMC Foundation. Jackson said the Auxiliary recently gave $5000 to the foundation to help provide infant “sleep sacks”. Sleep sacks are designed to swaddle infants, and comes with information to parents about safe sleep.
