JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – As quick as it started, it seems it’s ending.
The North Dakota Deer Gun season is in its third and final weekend, ending this Sunday, Nov. 20.
Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says he encourages you to get out and fill that tag this weekend.
After the deer gun season, Leier says you can turn your attention to upland game.
For the anglers and hunters, he encourages you to remain patient and avoid the ice as it’s still early and ice is very thin with areas of snow and in cattail slough areas.
You can listen to Doug Leier talk the Great Outdoors every Thursday at 7:40 AM on Big Dog Country 95.5 FM.
