JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – After welcoming a new child earlier this year, it didn’t take long for Amber Martin and her family to get back to giving back to the community.

“Gifts From Gretchyn” was formed in 2020 in the memory of Martin’s daughter Gretchyn, who passed away in June 2020 from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, or SIDS.

From there, numerous events were created to keep Gretchyn’s memory alive. One of those is the now popular “Golfing for Gretchyn”, which raises money for families who lose a child to purchase a headstone or plot through Haut Funeral Homes.

Martin says this Dec. 3, they’ll be hosting a Breakfast with Santa at Club 1883 in Jamestown. Martin says this will also raise funds for their cause.

She adds they’ll also accept any volunteer help that day from 9 AM to Noon to help with the event.

Only 250 tickets for the event will be sold at $10 a piece. You can contact Amber Martin through the Gifts from Gretchyn Facebook page. You can also text or call Martin at 701269-3215 for more information.
