November 15th was the 36th anniversary of the release of the high school basketball-themed movie “Hoosiers”.

The film, starring Gene Hackman, detailed the effort of the small-town Indiana high school basketball team, the Hickory Huskers, making their way to a state championship in the one-class system of high school basketball Indiana had in the 1950s.  It’s regarded as one of the best sports films of all time.

That got us to thinking, what IS the best sports film of all time.
