Anna Jane (Dahl) Haga, Valley City, North Dakota passed away on November 10, 2022 at the age of 84.  The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 17 at Grace Free Lutheran Church, Valley City.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.  Burial will be at Memory Gardens, Valley City in the spring.

Anna Jane Dahl was born December 15, 1937 to Carl and Pearl (Lindell) Dahl in Park River, North Dakota.  She attended school there and went on to attend Concordia College and Valley City Teacher’s College to obtain her teaching degree.  She married Duane Donald Haga on June 22, 1958.  She taught school in Minto, Lisbon, and Casselton before she and Duane purchased a farmstead in Grand Prairie Township, rural Valley City. 

Anna was a member of Grace Free Lutheran Church and was active in church activities throughout her life.  She was also a member of the Grand Prairie Homemaker’s Club for many years.  Anna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and quilting and made many creations for her family and friends.  She loved to garden and grew beautiful flowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Duane as well as her siblings Levern Dahl and Carol Dahl Habben.  Anna is survived by her children, Wayne (Iwona) Haga, Harold Haga, Suzie Haga and her grandchildren, Molly, Sammy and Abigail.
