Former Major Leaguer Steve Springer talks at an event in 2022

JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Former MLB player and current mental skills coach and scout Steve Springer is coming to Jamestown Sunday, November 13th for a one-night immersion into the mental games of baseball and softball.

Jamestown Area Youth Baseball (JAYBAL) has teamed up with the University of Jamestown baseball and softball teams to bring Springer in for this one-night-only mental skills and quality at-bats seminar to Jamestown. Michael Smith, the director of coaching for JAYBAL, talked about how this plan came to fruition.

Steve’s expertise and experience in MLB will be on full display as he provides the strategies, tactics, and major league coaching needed to build rock confidence at the plate. Each participating player will receive Steve’s “Quality At-Bats” digital audio programs, which are usually $130 on their own, with the price of admission. The cost is $50 and parents are encouraged to join their child at the event.

Doors will open at the Reiland Fine Arts Center on Sunday at 6:00 PM. This event is open to everyone in Jamestown and the surrounding communities.

If you are interested in registering for this event, you can head to www.jaybal.com/stevespringerevent. Steve’s talk “How to Compete with Confidence” is something all area baseball and softball players can learn from.
