JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – More than 200 ladies will come together Friday, Nov. 18 to raise money for several causes in the area.

Baskets, Bags & Bubbly was first established by Deb Lee around 17 years ago as a fundraiser for her volunteer service program. After her retirement, she left the event to organizers Tara Kapp and Nicole Lemieux.

Kapp added that funds are raised through silent and live auctions, raffles, and donations from community partners and sponsorships.

While tickets to the event sold out quickly, Lemieux says they will still accept more basket and bag donations.

Lemieux says they have also introduced their silent auction online to open the event up to those who may not be able to attend or missed out on a ticket to the event.

Kapp pointed out that the auctions are the biggest fundraising part of the event.

All funds raised from the event will go to Running of the Pink, No Excuses, and new this year is Help for Hope and Healing (HHH).

The baskets and bags are also available to view in person at RM Stoudt in Jamestown.

Those wishing to donate an item or to the cause can reach out on the Baskets, Bags and Bubbly Facebook page or by clicking here.
