JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Commission approved a bid for a new Law Enforcement Center (LEC) generator Tuesday, Nov. 1.
J. Daniel Schwartz with Nexus Planning & Consulting informed the commission that they viewed two acceptable bids Monday.
The cost of the bid came in at $264,660. A motion was made to accept the bid and move forward with the project. Schwartz says they have established a way to pay for the generator.
The split would leave approximately $60,000 to be covered by the county.
Due to supply chain delays, it’s estimated the delivery of the generator could take a year or more.
The bid was approved to Advantage Electric unanimously by the commission.
