JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A new program designed by the Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) hopes to provide a direct line to its providers.

JRMC U is a new, monthly open forum that Katie Ryan-Anderson hopes will open the door to better care in the community. The first of these will focus on Urology care on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Ryan-Anderson says the forums will allow residents to better understand the care they may need when it comes to common health issues.

Urologist Dr. Brent Williams joined the JRMC earlier this year. With two decades of experience in care for bladders, prostates, kidneys, and men’s reproductive systems, he says he looks forward to connecting with the community in a positive healthy discussion on urology care.

Dr. Williams hopes to answer questions regarding urological care, home and surgical treatments, recovery, and what happens after surgery. He says this includes both men and women urology care as well as preventative steps to any problems.

JRMC U is set for noon, Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Two Rivers Activity Center (TRAC). The event is free, lunch is provided and guests do not have to be a member of TRAC to attend.

Pre-registration is appreciated, though not required. Individuals can ask questions, privately, and in advance at info@jrmcnd.com. For more, visit jrmcnd.com.
