In the second set, Tenley Buddenhagen took UJ on a 7-0 run in the middle of set two in order to cruise to a 2-0 match lead. The Jimmies turned to seniors Kadyn Mehring and Anna Holen to cap off a sweep of the Cliff on a very special senior day.
Hegerle finished with a triple-double on senior day with 19 assists, 12 kills, and 11 digs. Holen had 15 digs and 13 kills and Mehring added in two kills. Averi Byer, the fourth senior, had seven digs for the Jimmies. Ellie Holen’s 19 digs paced UJ.
