(NDAgConnection.com) – Members of NDFB will meet Nov. 18 and 19 in Bismarck at the Bismarck Hotel and Convention Center to discuss and vote on policy that will guide the organization through 2023.

This year’s theme is “Building on the Best.” North Dakota farmers and ranchers are the best of the best. At the NDFB Annual Meeting, volunteers will gather to continue supporting a strong agriculture community in the state of North Dakota.

“NDFB plays a significant role in shaping the future of agriculture,” said NDFB President Daryl Lies. “Belonging to NDFB provides our members with a united voice. Members are given an atmosphere to network, a platform to develop and implement public policy, and an opportunity to be part of the largest farm and ranch organization in the country.”

Opening general session will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday and will lead into the delegate session where voting delegates will discuss and vote on policies. Following delegate session will be the NDFB Collegiate Discussion Meet. The winner will compete at the AFBF Fusion Conference in Jacksonville, Fla., in March.

Special guest, AFBF President Zippy Duvall will be speaking Friday evening before the NDFB Promotion and Education live auction. This annual auction benefits a variety of scholarships to help students across the state.

The delegate session will continue Saturday morning and lead into district elections. The afternoon will include a presentation by AFBF Economist Bernt Nelson. During Saturday night’s banquet, attendees will have a chance to unwind and share some laughs with well-known comedian, Damian Mason.
