LAMOURE, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Reigning state champion and current #1 team in 9B LaMoure-Litchville/Marion begins its postseason run on Saturday at home against Maple River.

The Loboes, 8-0 on the year, defeated Maple River 50-0 to begin the 2022 season. Maple River bounced back from the opening night loss to finish the regular season at 5-3 before defeating Richland 36-6 last week in the first round of the 9B playoffs.

For the LLM offense, senior quarterback Anthony Hanson went 52-69 during the regular season with 1,022 yards passing and 16 touchdowns. Colton Ness was the leading receiver for the Loboes with 10 touchdown grabs and 438 receiving yards. Brady Lettenmeier paced the rushing attack with 113 attempts for 605 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Kickoff on Saturday from LaMoure is set for 1:00 PM.
