NAPOLEON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Senior Haley Wolsky led the way with 13 kills to help the Carrington Cardinals defeat the Imperials of Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter 3-0 Tuesday night in Region 3 Volleyball action (25-18, 25-15, 25-21). Carrington is now 24-6 overall, NGS drops to 7-14 overall.

The Cardinals led most of the way throughout the three sets, the Imperials led for a brief period early on in set two and some early ties in all three sets, but Carrington would pull away each time. The Cardinals also had four kills from Senior Emma Hone. NGS was led by Junior Teagan Erbele with eight kills.

Next up for Carrington will be on Monday in Pingree against Medina/Pingree/Buchanan, KDAK AM 1600/FM 100.1 and newsdakota.com will have the varsity contest starting about 7pm.
