LARCHWOOD, Iowa (jimmiepride.com)– Max Noffsinger (SO/Ft. Collins, Colo.) tied for ninth place and the University of Jamestown men’s golf team finished its fall season in sixth place at the USF Invite Monday and Tuesday.
Noffsinger fired a two-round total of 9-over 153 (75-78) to tie with two others for ninth.
Jackson Worner (SR/West Fargo, N.D.) tied for 12th at 10-over 154 (77-77), Logan Douglas (FR/Stanley, England) tied for 21st at 14-over 158 (73-85), Benjamin Schaefer (JR/New Rockford, N.D.) was 39th at 20-over 164 (81-83), and Gehrig Geiss (SO/Glen Ullin, N.D.) tied for 58th at 30-over 174 (81-93).
Adam Nedens (SR/Billings, Mont.), playing as an individual, tied for 51st at 26-over 170 (82-88).
The Jimmies shot a 36-hole score of 629 (306-323), two shots back of Minot State for fifth place. Sioux Falls took first with a score of 597 (281-316) and Mason Weeks of USF was first at even-par 144 (67-77).
