JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Area Ambulance (JAA) has premiered new uniforms to show their support in raising breast cancer awareness.

“JAA decided to get involved with supporting these important causes,” the organization stated in their announcement. “To support breast cancer awareness, some of our EMS crews will be wearing pink Class Bs for the remainder of the month.”

The service says not only is the Class B uniform showing support for breast cancer awareness, but it is also in remembrance of one of their longtime mechanics.

“We knew we wanted to honor Glen Sieling, a long time Ringdahl family member and fleet mechanic who passed away last week. He fought a strong battle with lung cancer. To remember him, we placed the lung cancer ribbon on our left sleeve with his initials underneath.”

The uniforms were designed and created by 701 Apparel in Jamestown.
