CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Foster County Soil Conservation District (FCSCD) has opened up orders for trees.

District Manager Dionn Schaaf says they have order forms available on their website.

Schaaf says they’re encouraging everyone to check tree rows and determine what replacements are needed.

If you have an assistance program and have a tree plan that includes renovation, Schaaf says to check your that your contract is fully in place before removing old trees. Those looking to plant for next spring are encouraged to start taking steps and plan accordingly.

Schaaf adds they also have a rain barrel workshop coming up Oct. 25 and registration is due Oct. 18 to order materials.
