JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Chamber) – The Chamber Young Professionals of Jamestown and the Chamber Ambassadors recently recognized McDonald’s as the October Business of the Month Award recipient for their outstanding customer service and continued commitment to the community.

McDonald’s in Jamestown is located at 817 20th St SW.

Their nomination stated:

“On Tuesday, August 23rd, Dickinson High School was coming to Jamestown to play soccer against our Jamestown Blue Jays. One of my friends from Dickinson who coaches called around to a few fast-food restaurants in town to find out if any of their lobbies would be open after the JV and Varsity soccer games ended and was told no by a couple of businesses. These businesses in town have limited lobby hours due to being short staffed. McDonald’s had said they wouldn’t be open at the time needed; however, they were able to pull staffing together and called my friend back and told her they would open up for them. I thought this was going above and beyond for athletes and coaches from another town and a true example of being customer focused. Kudos to them! One day later, I saw them have a booth set up at the UJ Block Party. And, I consistently receive positive, customer-focused service when I frequent their business!”

The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce honors businesses that provide superior customer service, exhibit community spirit and provide a positive economic impact to the community.

This award provides recognition throughout the month with a plaque and a recognition banner for the month. Monthly award winners will be considered for the Business of the Year to be awarded in January of 2023.
