JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce has numerous branches that focus on young professionals and current issues for residents.

One of those arms is the Ag & Energy Committee.

Chamber Executive Director Emily Bivens says the committee will be hosting their annual luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 18. NDSU Carrington Research Extension Center Fruit Project Manager Kathy Wiederhold will be this years speaker.

Bivens will talk on their area and regional education involving both backyard and commercial fruit industry development.

The luncheon will be held at the North Dakota Farmers Union building at 1415 12th Ave. SE starting at noon. Cost to attend is $10 per person.
