Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—-The Carrington girls volleyball team defeated Barnes County North (BCN) 3-0 (25-8, 25-16, 25-13) in District 5 action. Haley Wolsky paced the Cardinals offense with 13 kills and Madison Johnson added 9 kills. Kennedy Wendel added 6 kills and a match high 3 stuff blocks. Kacie Rexin added a match high 6 service aces and 14 assists. Charlotte Mueller had 6 kills for BCN and Jayden Samek added 5 kills. BCN dropped to 2-16 overall and 0-4 in district play. Carrington improved to 15-5 overall and 3-1 in the district. The Cardinals will host the Carrington volleyball tournament this Saturday and coverage will began around 10:45 A.M. with a pregame before a pool play match against Hettinger-Scranton.
