Jamestown (15-1 overall, 4-0 GPAC) won a pair of home matches last week, defeating Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) in five sets and sweeping Mount Marty (S.D.) UJ is the lone unbeaten team in the GPAC standings, with Concordia (Neb.) and Midland (Neb.) close behind at 5-1 in the conference.

The Jimmies will be at Doane Friday for a 7:30 p.m. match, then will play two matches at Hastings (Neb.) on Saturday. At 1 p.m. UJ takes on Hastings, then at 3 p.m. will face Ottawa (Kan.) in a non-conference match.

Doane is one of two teams still searching for their first conference win (0-6) and is 7-15 overall. The Tigers snapped a four-match losing skid with a sweep of Avila (Mo.) University last Saturday. Jamestown has won five straight against Doane, including a 3-0 sweep at Harold Newman Arena in the GPAC quarterfinals on November 6, 2021.

Hastings has won four in a row to push their overall mark to 15-5 and are 4-2 in the GPAC. The Broncos swept Briar Cliff (Iowa) last Saturday and will host Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) Friday before welcoming the Jimmies to town. Jamestown is 4-3 against Hastings since 2011 and has won three in a row, dropping just one set in that time.

Mount Marty has lost back-to-back matches, getting swept by College of Saint Mary and Midland. The Lancers have a 3-1 record on the road this season but are just 1-3 in the conference and 6-6 overall. Jamestown is a perfect 10-0 against the Lancers since 2007. The Jimmies are 4-0 both home and away and 2-0 in neutral site matches.

Ottawa (Kan.), a member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, is 10-8 overall and have won six in a row. The Braves have played Briar Cliff, Hastings, and Doane this season, winning all three matches.

Jamestown returns home to host No. 6 Concordia (Neb.) next Friday and No. 3 Midland (Neb.) on Saturday.
