CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 5 month-old baby is dead after the child was reported unresponsive at a Carrington in-home daycare on Monday, Sept. 26.

Foster County State’s Attorney Kara Brinster reports the Carrington Ambulance and Carrington Police Department both responded. The baby was airflighted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo where he later died.

A GoFundMe created for the family reports doctors found two brain bleeds. No charges have been filed in the case as the investigation is ongoing.

The GoFundMe explains the baby’s name is Reed, son of Jesse and Brittany Nelson of Carrington. An account has also been established at Bank Forward in Carrington to assist with medical expenses.
