TOWER CITY, N.D. (KFGO) A Minot man charges in the death of a woman in an I-94 crash near Tower City in January has pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless endangerment, driving under suspension and driving without liability insurance.

43-year-old Mario Butler is accused of leaving a flatbed tow truck with mechanical issues on Interstate 94.

An S-U-V driven by 43-year-old Tim Hagerott of Bismarck slammed into the truck, which was in the right driving lane. He and his two daughters were seriously injured while his wife, Kelli, was killed. The family was returning home from a volleyball tournament in Minnesota. The next hearing in the case is set for November.
