JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown United Way hosted several organizations that receive funding through their organization Monday, Sept. 26.

United Way is an international network of over 1,800 local nonprofit fundraising affiliates. More than 11 service clubs and organizations are recipients of funding raised by the local non-profit. The kick-off at the Hansen Arts Park starts the campaign season, which runs from October through March 2023.

Board Member Niki Hjelle says this will lead them into the next part of their fundraising process.

Hjelle added there are other ways that those interested in making a donation can do to help their causes. They’re also seeking more board members to help them fundraise.

As a board member, you commit to meetings, develop fundraising ideas, and help execute fundraising and advocacy.
