BISMARCK, N.D (Prairie Public Radio) – Bismarck Police are investigating a murder that happened at a local motel early this morning.

Officers were called to the Motel 6 in north Bismarck at around 12:40 am, on a report that an individual had been shot in the chest. They arrived to find a 28 year old man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police are calling it a “targeted attack,” and say they do not believe there is a danger to the public. Further details will be released later.
