Fargo, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Hi-Liners put up a good fight but were swept by the #3 Fargo North Spartans on Tuesday in a 2pt Volleyball matchup.

The Spartans got started early in set one jumping out to a 6 point lead early. The Hi-Liners were able to fight back and bring the game back to within 1. The Spartans would, in the end pull away, and take set one by a score of 25-16.

Set two saw the Hi-Liners strike first, jumping out to a 2 point lead and even expanding that lead to 5. However the Spartans would come back and pull away after a single run of points put them ahead by 5. The teams would then trade points until Fargo North took the set 25-15.

Set three once again saw the Hi-Liners jump to a 5 point lead early in the set however Fargo North would fight back twice and take a lead after a 6 point run. They would again trade points until the Spartans took the set and the match by a score of 25-18.

The Ivy Real Estate Group player of the game was Kinlee Sufficool after she got several Aces and a fair number of assists.

The Hi-Liners will be back in action on Thursday when they take on Shanley at 7:00 at Fargo Shanley.
