Anthony Weinstein
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown Convocations Committee will be hosting Anthony Weinstein, a native of Ukraine, in an event designed to inform and raise money.
John Clodfelter is an instructor at the University and a member of the Convocations Committee.
Clodfelter says on Sept. 24, they’ll be hosting Weinstein in an event entitled “Slava Ukraine”, which translates to “Glory to Ukraine.”
While the event is set to be educational and information, Clodfelter says they’ll also be welcoming in members of the community to raise money for Ukraine.
Tickets can be purchased for $10 at the door which will be donated to Red Cross Ukraine. A free-will offering will also be held during a reception following the performance with all proceeds being donated to the same cause.
The event is set for Sept. 24 at 7:30 PM in the Reiland Fine Arts building in Denault Auditorium. More information can be found at uj.edu.
