BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Economic Development Association of North Dakota is holding its Fall Conference in Bismarck Sept. 28-29 at the Bismarck Hotel and Convention Center.
The event will bring together economic developers, state and community leaders and stakeholders for training sessions, policy discussions and networking events.
With a theme of “Growing Together,” the event will spark discussion on how all facets of the state’s economy must work together to create thriving and vibrant communities.
Program topics include working with media, site development and selection training, attitudes for excellence, updates on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in North Dakota, Bismarck State College’s polytechnic mission, workforce development, and community engagement. Thursday’s panel discussion with retiring North Dakota Senate Majority Leader Rich Wardner and retiring North Dakota Senate Minority Leader Joan Heckaman will look inside North Dakota’s law-making and why it’s important to be active in the legislative process.
