JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – As the golf weather winds down, the Jamestown Parks & Recreation Department will be conducting a multi-season sand trap renovation project starting this fall.

Amy Walters is the Jamestown Parks & Recreation Executive Director.

Once tournaments are finished, Walters says they’ll start their maintenance at Hillcrest Golf Course.

One project Walters says they estimate will take more than a few seasons includes their sand traps.

Walters adds that the golf course will be open as much as possible, but they’ll start to focus on transitioning into the winter sports building and more indoor classes.
