loyal-to-local

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A program that encouraged more than $125,000 to be spent locally in Jamestown is now accepting businesses to sign-up for the 2022 return.

The Loyal to Local Passport program was introduced by the Chamber of Commerce to help spur local economic growth and encourage residents and visitors to shop in Jamestown.

Participants would take booklets from participating businesses, seeking stamps for a purchase of $50 or more. Once the booklet reached $250 spent, it was then turned in for a chance to win donated prizes.

Executive Director Emily Bivens says two of these ways a business can participate is by becoming a merchant or donate a prize or prizes.

The final way a business can join is by buying an ad in the booklet.

Bivens adds that any business in the area can join, whether they’re a chamber member or not.

You can visit jamestownchamber.com to sign up or get more information. Loyal to Local will begin after Thanksgiving and run through the holidays.
