The sixth-ranked University of Jamestown volleyball team returns to Harold Newman Arena Tuesday for its first home match of the season, taking on No. 8 Northwestern (Iowa) College at 7:30 p.m.

The Jimmies (11-1) extended their winning streak to 11 straight matches with four wins at the United Sports Academy/CSM Labor Day Classic. Jamestown defeated Tennessee Southern, Saint Mary (Kan.), Rocky Mountain (Mont.), and Presentation (S.D.)
Northwestern enters Tuesday’s matchup at 9-1 overall and 1-0 in the GPAC. The Red Raiders have won seven straight and also went 4-0 at the CSM Labor Day Classic.
UJ is 53-6 at Harold Newman Arena since 2017, and have won 35 straight matches at home dating back to 2019. The last team to beat Jamestown was the Red Raiders, who won 32-30, 25-17, and 25-23 on October 21, 2019, Since then, the Jimmies have won four straight against Northwestern, including a pair of sweeps at home in each of the last two seasons.
Following Tuesday’s match Jamestown stays at home and hosts Morningside (Iowa) University on Saturday at 3 p.m.
