BISMARCK, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High School boys’ tennis team came up just short of Bismarck High on Tuesday night as the Demons defeated the Blue Jays 4-3 in a non-counter match.
The Blue Jays earned victories at #1 and #2 doubles as Jamestown’s Max Fronk and Camron Anderson won 6-2 and 6-2 over Bismarck’s #1 doubles team. Adam Sortland and Steve Schmitz earned a victory at #2 doubles, winning 2-6, 6-4, 10-7 over Beau Bitz and Ethan Wood of Bismarck.
Jamestown earned another victory in #3 singles as Luke Lefevre outlasted Trystan Fernandez in three sets, 7-5, 3-6, 10-4.

Kane Schmidt, 7-5, 6-4; #3 doubles – Lennon Kulakuski-Landon Regstad, B, def. Ravi Bansal-Braxton Burkett, 6-3, 4-6, 10-8.
This match was a non-counter in the West Region Standings. Jamestown falls to 1-3 overall as Bismarck improves to 2-2. Jamestown travels to Legacy on Thursday to take on the Sabers at 4:15 PM.
