JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Rachel Jennings’ work as the Health Equity Coordinator is to inform others on what they can do to be more inclusive in their communities.

Jennings explains that health equity is the concept that all people have the same chance of being successful and some might need more help to reach the same level.

Jennings says these topics are important when helping others integrate and feel like part of the community.

One way you can be more inclusive is by asking questions if you’re unsure.

Whether it’s LGBTQ+, pronouns, disabilities, mental health, or race, Jennings says there are simple things you can do to ensure you’re inclusive and kind to others.

Jennings says those who wish to learn more can visit thediversitymovement.com or centralvalleyhealth.org.
