JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown EMS Education is hoping to train the next line of EMTs and service providers in North Dakota with their upcoming Fall course starting Aug. 29.

Jamestown Area Ambulance Operations Manager Andrew Berkey says they typically hold courses in the Spring and Fall.

Berkey says those who are interested in helping others and providing a necessary service to their community should consider becoming an EMT. He says a big draw to the profession is that no two days are the same.

Speaking on his experience, Berkey says there’s a lot of self growth involved in the career.

Berkey added that the EMT course is not just for the Jamestown area and encourages anyone anywhere in North Dakota to train with them and become an EMT for your community.
