JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Hundreds turned out for the 3rd Annual El Zagal Mystics Fishing for a Cause event on Saturday, Aug. 13 at Pelican Point Landing.
The event featured inflatable games, face painting, Little Tykes fishing tournament, food, live DJ, music, and more to raise money for the shriners philanthropy and a local cause.
Craig Mehlhaff says the support of the community and those businesses who helped them put the event on made it possible to do what they do.
Mehlhaff says if last year was any indication of what that support could bring, they were hopeful the 3rd Annual event would make just as big of a difference.
He broke down some of the causes they are able to support thanks to fundraisers such as Fishing for a Cause.
