NORTH DAKOTA

Corn condition rated 0% very poor, 3% poor, 25% fair, 63% good, and 9% excellent. Corn silking was 80%, near 84% last year, and behind 86% average. Dough was 17%, near 18% last year and 20% average.

Soybean condition rated 1% very poor, 5% poor, 35% fair, 55% good, and
4% excellent. Soybeans blooming was 93%, near 91% for both last year and the five-year
average. Setting pods was 57%, behind 71% last year and 67% average.

Spring wheat condition rated 0% very poor, 2% poor, 24% fair, 60% good, and 14% excellent.  Spring wheat coloring was 63%, well behind 93% last year and 89% average. Mature was 14%, well behind 69% last year and 45% average.

Sugarbeet condition rated 5% very poor, 5% poor, 37% fair, 50% good, and 3% excellent

Canola condition rated 0% very poor, 2% poor, 36% fair, 57% good, and 5% excellent. Canola coloring was 52%, well behind 74% last year and 72% average.

Winter wheat condition rated 1% very poor, 3% poor, 17% fair, 71% good, and 8% excellent.  Winter wheat coloring was 98%, near 97% last year, and equal to average. Mature was 75%, behind 93% last year and 87% average. Harvested was 36%, well behind 61% last year, and behind 47% average.


MINNESOTA

Corn silking was at 90 percent, 5 days behind the 5-year average. Corn dough reached 26 percent. Corn condition was 3 percent very poor, 6 percent poor, 29 percent fair, 51  percent good, and 11 percent excellent.

Soybeans blooming or beyond reached 91 percent, 5 days behind average. Soybeans setting pods reached 60 percent. Soybean condition was 2 percent very poor, 5 percent poor, 30 percent fair, 53 percent good, and 10 percent excellent.

Spring wheat was 70 percent coloring. Spring wheat condition was 0 percent very
poor, 0 percent poor, 26 percent fair, 67 percent good, and 7 percent excellent. Barley was 75 percent coloring and 7 percent harvested. Barley condition was 0 percent very poor, 1 percent poor, 32 percent fair, 59 percent good, and 8 percent excellent.

Dry edible beans were 97 percent blooming and 72 percent setting pods. Dry edible bean condition was 0 percent very poor, 2 percent poor, 31 percent fair,
55 percent good, and 12 percent excellent.

Sunflower condition was 0 percent very poor, 0 percent poor, 16 percent fair, 77 percent good, and 7 percent excellent.

Oats were 85 percent coloring and 30 percent harvested. Oat condition was 2 percent very poor, 6 percent poor, 28 percent fair, 52 percent good, and 12 percent excellent.

Alfalfa hay second cutting was at 87 percent.
