JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Arts Center is getting in on the fun during Buffalo Days this weekend July 22, 23, and 24.

Arts Center Executive Director Mindi Schmitz says the Arts Center has held a Mini Art Hunt every Saturday during the community celebration.

Schmitz says the small carved bears were provided by the Jamestown woodcarvers group and will all be assigned a number. When one is found, she says you can report it to the Arts Center so they can mark it off their list.

And the prize for finding that small bear?

The Jamestown Arts Center is also seeking entries for their 58th annual Jamestown Fine Arts Association exhibit. All media will be accepted including painting, mixed media, fiber, photography, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, etc. Entries are due August 1st.

The exhibit will be on display September 15 through October 29.
