VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Valley City listened to a presentation from an engineer about a proposed I-94 drainage project just east of exit 290.

Senior Water Resources Engineer Brandon Barnes of BARR Engineering talked about the focus of this project.

He also talked about the proposed timeline of the drainage project.

One of the property owners affected by this drainage project, Shawn Cole, said the city should provide some relief to property owners in the area. Cole said he and other property owners have been hit hard by previous special assessments related to this drainage issue in the past.

More details about the project and the cost estimate will be released at a later date.
