Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—-The Edgeley Babe Ruth team scored 10 runs in their final 2 at bats and defeated Carrington 12-7. Leading 2-1 going to the 6th inning, both teams scored 4 runs making it a 6-5 lead for Edgeley going to the 7th inning. Six  runs in the top of the 7th was the difference as Carrington added 2 runs in the bottom of the frame but Edgekley bheld on for the 12-7 win.

Damian Carlson went 3-4 at the plate, scored 2 runs, had 2 RBI, and picked up the mound victory in relief. Brad Kinzler went 2-4, had 2 RBI, and scored 3 runs. Joe Kramlich, 2-5, 2 runs, and 2 RBI.

Carrington starting pitcher Josh Bickett went 5 1/3 innings allowing 2 runs (1 earned) and struck out 13 batters before departing due to the pitch limit. Bickett went 1-4 at the plate and scored 2 runs. Tate Wolsky went 2-5, run, and an RBI. Jacob Boeshans went 1-2 with 2 BB and 2 runs.

Carrington dropped to 4-7 overall and Edgeley improved to 10-1.

Carrington Post 25 legion team defeated Jamestown B 9-2 earlier in the day at Carrington.
