JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – University of Jamestown women’s basketball head coach Thad Sankey dropped by the JIM studio on Wednesday to talk about the 2022 recruiting class, where his players are improving this offseason, and Elite Camp coming up on July 18th.

Sankey started by talking about what summer workouts look like for the Jimmies with early mornings and working hard before most people are even out of bed.

The fifth-year head coach for UJ also talked about the big leaps that players take during the summer, especially for players who are going from their freshmen in to sophomore seasons.

In terms of the 2022 recruiting class, the Jimmies will welcome in another group of freshmen during welcome week, some who are well known to North Dakota high school girls basketball fans and some who will have the potential to make an immediate impact.

Finally, the Jimmies are set to host their final camp of the summer coming up on July 18th. This is an Elite Camp for athletes that want to play at the next level and will feature high-level competition. Registration ends on July 4th, and you can sign up for the Elite Camp HERE.
