JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Anne Carlsen had the privilege of hosting Senator John Hoeven, USDA Under Secretary of Rural Development Xochitl Torres Small, and USDA State director Erin Oban at their Jamestown Campus Monday, June 27.

Senator Hoeven and Under Secretary Torres Small will be conducting a rural healthcare roundtable with regional healthcare leaders, as well as learning more about the new Anne Carlsen facility due to start construction on July 5th, 2022.

“Access to high quality health care should never be dependent on a person’s zip code,” said Senator Hoeven. “Today’s discussion is about working together to strengthen rural communities through improved access to necessary resources, including health care. The Anne Carlsen Center’s new facility will strengthen the resources, education and health care available to children with special needs and their families for years to come, and we appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with Under Secretary Torres Small.”
