JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It’s a constant question for the North Dakota Game & Fish Department.
Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says in response, the Game & Fish Department created their “Find Lakes” search on their website. There, anglers can search the different lakes and counties to receive a list of sport fish found in that lake, stocking information, driving directions, boat ramps, shore fishing access and more.
You can also search each fish species for a list of areas those fish can be caught.
Leier also encourages you to get the kids involved while you’re out reeling for the big one.
He adds while the Little Britches fishing tournament this weekend is a good place to start, you can take your kids out fishing any day of the week.
